MEMBERSHIP IN HIKE ONTARIO

Hike Ontario offers three types of memberships:

• Club Membership
• Affiliate Membership
• Individual Membership

Club Membership

Not-for-profit organizations that build and/or maintain trails (Trail Building Organizations) and not-for-profit organizations that promote recreational walking (Hiking Organizations) are encouraged to join Hike Ontario to strengthen the voice of Hiking in Ontario. Club Membership entitles your club to a position on the Hike Ontario Board of Directors and hence a direct say in the operations of Hike Ontario. The annual club membership fee is $100 plus $1 per club member up to 400 members and 20 cents per member above 400.

Affiliate Membership

Affiliate membership is open to corporations, government agencies and organizations other than hiking or trail building organizations (commercial or non-profit) for $100 per annum. Your organization will be listed as an Affiliate Member of Hike Ontario and you will receive copies of all our publications.

Individual Membership

Hike Ontario welcomes individual members. The individual annual membership fee is $25.00. Membership benefits include receipt of our electronic newsletter, Trail Mail, receipt of our quarterly print newsletter, Hike Ontario, discounts on publications, voting privileges and an invitation to our Annual General Meeting.
